A feeling of uncertainty dawned over us,

As we stood again in an unknown place and began to discuss.

New friends, new school, new community -

All which also meant a new opportunity.

Moving was as if someone pressed a reset button,

Pushing us into a new line to cut-in,

To erase all the bad from the past,

And establish new memories that would forever last.

While furniture and clothing remained the same,

There was something that gave each place its name.

Every place had a scent of its own,

That's how home came to be known.
