A Corporate Departure

Wow, what is this world, Coming up to my feet all bundled and curled,

Unpacking delicacies of fine food and wine, It made sense because everyone seemed align,

But then I realized, this fate was not mine.

Strengthened by a pack of advocates believing in my potential, My departure for a soul search was very essential.

Jogging around thinking my answer was external, I arrived at a path that was only internal

— for this whole experience was just a kernel.

Dabbling around in search for purpose, I find myself scratching the same surface.

It‘s a voice, a subtle calling, Telling me to stop avoiding falling, And just start crawling, For life’s plan is up ahead lolling, And when revealed, will be anything by appalling.
