Being Human

Thrown various tags and labels to wear,

This is a story that we all somewhat share.

Born into the purest form of a being,

Influence of others later began to affect our seeing.

Ultimately believing skills can only be obtained through an institution,

We started to think we figured out the human constitution.

But we forget,

That being human is our biggest asset.

For kindness and compassion do not require a degree or job title,

It is the only thing to life that is vital,

So maintain these traits in your life's recital,

And remember to be human next time you feel entitled.
