Consume Your Consumerism

Trends, fashion, and fads - all stirring up some fires,

Of strong, internal desires,

Creating an illusion of status,

This spirit of materialism comes with gratis.

So rethink what actually makes your heart flutter,

And get rid of the rest of all that clutter,

Throwing it down the gutter,

Or better yet, let it be used by another.

Next time you see something on sale,

Reconsider and ask yourself if you're starting to derail.

For ownerships externally,

Never buys you peace internally.
