Somewhere in the world I met you,

Greeted you,

Hosted you,

Spent hours contemplating your essence,

Felt grateful for you,

Regretted you,

And then, again,

Treasured you,

Embraced you,

And now,

Have lost you -

Somewhere in the closed walls of homes,

Someplace in the empty streets,

In the calm of the wind that blows without barriers,

In the water that flows without interruptions,

And in the trees that continue to grow without disruptive actions.

I sit indoors, yearning to connect with the human passing by my window, outside my door.

Come back connection, I will treasure you and always greet you with affection.
